Halborn Expands Leadership with New CEO Jacques Boschung

Five years ago, Halborn was an idea sparked by a clear market need when practically every one of my web3 marketing agency clients kept getting hacked. Not long after meeting and working with my co-founder, Steve Walbroehl did we end up becoming a global leader in blockchain solutions, having helped shape the security landscape for some of the most innovative names in the space, like Solana Foundation, Circle, and BNY Mellon. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned in my career, it’s that growth is never linear—and we’re about to embark on a new chapter that promises even greater horizons.

After much thought and reflection, I’ve made the decision to transition from my role as CEO into a new position as Executive Chairman and President of Halborn. This isn’t a step back; rather, it’s a leap forward for both the company and myself. Those who know me understand that I thrive on finding strategic "growth hacks"—ways to accelerate our momentum and capitalize on emerging opportunities. This transition is a move in that same spirit, and it positions us to better navigate the exciting (and sometimes turbulent) waters ahead.

I’m thrilled to welcome Jacques Boschung as our new CEO. Jacques has a proven track record in leading technology organizations through times of rapid growth, and his deep expertise in enterprise strategy will be invaluable as we continue scaling. His leadership at Kudelski Security and Dell Technologies speaks for itself—he knows how to tackle complex markets and lead teams toward success. I’m confident that under Jacques’ guidance, Halborn will not just grow, but thrive in ways we haven’t yet imagined.

In my new full-time role, I’ll be laser-focused on key strategic areas: forging powerful partnerships, driving our sales and marketing efforts, and, most importantly, continuing to support the long-term vision we’ve built at Halborn. I’m as committed as ever to ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation and leadership in the Web3 space.

Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come. We’ve weathered market shifts, technological revolutions, and a constantly changing crypto landscape—and through it all, Halborn has remained not only profitable but a steadfast presence in the blockchain ecosystem. Our team’s relentless focus on delivering value to our clients has played a pivotal role in fostering trust and securing the future of decentralized technologies. We’ve grown alongside our partners, helping them navigate this uncharted territory with confidence.

But this journey is far from over. In fact, I believe we’re just getting started. As the world of digital assets and DLT continues to evolve, we find ourselves perfectly positioned to lead the next wave of innovation. The challenges ahead are exciting, and with Jacques Boschung at the helm, I have no doubt we’ll tackle them head-on.
